WHY: United by our passion and obvious talents for sleeping in, opening presents, and living a champagne lifestyle on a beer budget, it was only natural that we should open Bear & Duck and therefore legitimise these pursuits as “research and development”. Oh, and we believe everyone deserves to wake up feeling like they’ve slept in an expensive hotel suite. You know in Pretty Woman when Julia Roberts is in the hotel with the fluffy white towels and crisp white bed linen? We want that.

HOW: We want to build a customer base of like-minded people to explore fantastic products and enjoy each other’s company. We believe the best way to grow our business is through our friends and good old-fashioned work of mouth. In short, tell your friends about us so we can give you free products.

WHO: Members of our team have dabbled in the fields of web development, journalism, telemarketing and sports coaching. As such, we are highly proficient in Googling, emailing, talking on the telephone and motivating each other.

WHERE: Our office in Melbourne’s CBD is next to a beauty therapist’s and sometimes smells like acrylic nails. There’s a good sushi place around the corner.
